Best known for hosting the Early Breakfast show on BBC Radio 1 and touring the world as a celebrated Electronic house DJ and producer, Arielle Free’s meteoric rise in the dance music industry is an earnest one. From humble beginnings, the young Glaswegian has grafted for many years dedicating herself to her talent, constantly evolving. Arielle has become a key figure in the music world, continuing to shape the musical landscape around her and every bit influential as she is undisputed. Arielle is often referred to as Scotland’s answer to Annie Mac, which is an easy comparison to make. Yet dig a little deeper and it’s easy to see how Arielle is carving out her own space in dance music. Come April 2024, Arielle will be hosting a new Radio 1 dance show on Thursday nights, giving her the opportunity to guide her listeners through two hours of high energy musical goodness which will be full of certified dance floor fillers. 2023 was a big year for Arielle in music, releasing her absolute banger Feels So Good, collaborating with talented DJs such as GotSomeDJ and Icarus on Levitate, releasing more underground and club focused remixes such as Rules Saturday Morning, and releasing some huge tunes on her own label Free Your Mind including her own track Technicolour Kenny to name a few. Arielle is sitting on a lot of new music for 2024, watch this space. Not only has Arielle had everyone dancing in the UK/Europe scene this year, with perfomances at Glastonbury, Printworks, Manchester Warehouse Project, Drumsheads and Cardiff Castle with Fisher, but she’s also established herself and grown internationally this last year. These include Ants at Ushuaia Ibiza, Superior Ingredients at New York, Elrow Dubai, Savaya Bali, Radius with Fisher in Chicago, Discopussy Las Vegas, an Australian tour with Defected and played alongside David Guetta in Ibiza Residancy.
