Joss Dean
Joss Dean
Book nowJoss Dean is a 19 year old DJ and producer from London whose rise over the past two years has been about as steep as the UK underground gets.
He was raised around the decks. His brother Max and cousin Luke Dean are both DJs, so house music was in the house before it was ever a career. That upbringing shows in the way he plays. Where a lot of young artists chase the drop, Dean plays for the long moment: patient, built on groove, minimal but never weightless. "I love records that feel hypnotic and minimal but still have a strong rhythm," he says, and his sets bear it out.
His productions have found homes across the tastemaker end of the scene. "Was I Loved?" on Dansu Discs remains his calling card and returned this year in a stripped back Dub Mix, while "The People's Rhythm" landed on neXup recz and "GANGSTA" arrived via Insomniac Records. He also features on Dansu Discs' Eivissa 2026 and Deep Cuts 2025 compilations. Records tested at DC10 and Amnesia have made their way into the wider Ibiza circuit.
Behind the counter he has built a live reputation to match: a sold out all night long at XOYO, a sold out Joshua Brooks, plus Warehouse Project, Drumsheds, Studio 338, Thuishaven in Amsterdam and 528 in Ibiza.
September 2026 brings his debut Australian run, before a Manchester all nighter, III Points in Miami and FNGRS CRSSD in San Diego close out the year.
